GlycoNet will be attending the 32nd International Carbohydrate Symposium (ICS 2026), taking place July 5–9, 2026, in Bratislava, Slovakia.
As one of the leading international meetings in carbohydrate research, ICS 2026 brings together scientists, trainees, and industry from around the world to share advances in carbohydrate chemistry and glycoscience. The program includes plenary lectures, invited talks, oral presentations, and poster sessions, offering a forum for exchanging ideas and building new collaborations across disciplines.
The symposium covers a wide range of topics central to glycoscience, including carbohydrate synthesis, glycoconjugates, structural analysis, glycobiology and glycomics, as well as emerging areas such as bioinformatics, molecular modelling, and glycomaterials. These themes reflect the growing role of carbohydrates and glycans in health, biotechnology, and fundamental research.
GlycoNet’s participation supports ongoing engagement with the international glycoscience community and provides an opportunity to connect with researchers and partners working across complementary areas of carbohydrate research.
Set in Bratislava, a historic city along the Danube River, ICS 2026 offers a setting that brings together scientific exchange with a broader international perspective on the field.
