GlycoNet is pleased to announce its participation in Sosido, an online knowledge-sharing network. Sosido hosts a growing network of associations and research groups from multidisciplinary fields.
“We’re happy to offer the GlycoNet community a new way to share information online, interact and keep abreast of the evolving markets,” said Elizabeth Nanak GlycoNet Executive Director.
GlycoNet network investigators, trainees and members will be able to receive:
- A weekly email digest summarizing all activity in the GlycoNet community.
- Updates on all publications authored by GlycoNet investigators that week.
- A summary of new articles released that week from journals chosen by the user.
- Access to a secure GlycoNet members-only forum to ask and answer questions.
“GlycoNet is dedicated to building its community,” explained GlycoNet Scientific Director Dr. Todd Lowary. “Sosido will help us to sustain a robust glycomics network.”
The Canadian Glycomics Network (GlycoNet) is a pan-Canadian, multidisciplinary research network aiming to deliver solutions to important health issues and improve the quality of life of Canadians through the study of glycomics. GlycoNet is funded by the Networks of Centres of Excellence, a Government of Canada program that supports large-scale, academic-led research networks to build research capacity and accelerate the creation of new knowledge in a specific research area.
Sosido is an online knowledge sharing platform for professional healthcare associations and their members. As a network of networks, Sosido bridges silos of specialty, discipline, and centre to speed knowledge transfer, promote collaboration, and broadcast contributions of each group to the broader healthcare community.
