Request Services
Step 1
Interested parties fill the request form. We welcome projects from academia, private, and government sectors, and requesters from diverse backgrounds or career stages.
Step 2
Proposals are assessed and prioritized based on scientific merit, potential impact, and availability capacity (facility, personnel, expertise).
Step 3
If the project is recommended, a project cost estimate is presented to the user for approval prior to execution.
Step 4
Prior to scheduling, proposals must receive biosafety and/or ethics approval (for projects involving animals). With these approvals in place, a contract is presented to the user for execution.
Step 5
The facility management dispatches project components to appropriate node(s). Scientific and technical personnel at the node implement the project.
Step 6
Once assigned to an appropriate node, the service project is scheduled and executed. The user has real-time access to project progress.
Step 7
Node management issues a report of results to the user and requests the user’s confirmation of completion. The user also can provide feedback that is monitored by node management.
Step 8
An invoice is issued by the Facility management. receipt of payment, the project is closed.
We request that any publications, posters, or oral presentations resulting from work performed by our facility acknowledge GlycoNet. This allows GlycoNet to report information to our funding agencies and demonstrate our impact on Canadian innovations. Clients should also keep us apprised of any publications, posters, or oral presentations arising from work performed at our facility.
