GlycoNet’s research efforts are focused on providing solutions to human health issues through the study of glycomics. Research teams from 28 institutions across Canada will collaborate with partners from a variety of industries in order to achieve this mission. Through Translational grants, Collaborative Team grants, and Catalyst grants the Network has funded more than 40 projects in the areas of antimicrobials, rare genetic diseases, diabetes and obesity, chronic disease, and therapeutic proteins and vaccines.
